Privacy Policy
The Vital Years respects your privacy. This page explains the limited information we collect, how we use it, with whom we share it, and the choices you have.
The Vital Years ("The Vital Years," "we," "our," or "us") publishes the website at laappflex.shop (the "Site"), a personal editorial journal by Giulia Batista on breathing, nerve health, and aging well. We are an editorial publication, not a store or a clinic. We do not process payments, ship products, or keep medical records, so the information we collect is small.
I.Information We Collect
1.1 Information you provide
- Correspondence: if you write to us at [email protected], we receive your email address, your name (if included), and the contents of your message.

1.3 Information from third parties
We may receive aggregated information about our readers from analytics providers and the platforms on which we promote our letters (such as Meta and Google). This helps us understand which letters resonate.
II.How We Use Your Information

- Comply with our legal obligations and respond to lawful requests.
III.How We Share Your Information
We do not sell your personal information for monetary consideration. We share information only in these limited cases:
- Service providers: trusted vendors who help us operate the Site, such as web hosting (Cloudflare), email delivery, and analytics. They may only use your information for the purposes we authorize.
- Advertising and analytics partners: Meta (Facebook), Google Analytics, and similar platforms, to measure how readers find our letters. See Section IV for opt-out options.
- Legal compliance: when required by law, subpoena, court order, a lawful request from a public authority, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of The Vital Years, our readers, or others.
- Business transfers: in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of the publication, subject to the protections of this Policy.
- With your consent: in any other case where you have explicitly consented.
IV.Cookies and Tracking
We and our third-party partners use cookies, web beacons, pixels (including the Meta Pixel and Google Analytics tags), and similar technologies to recognize your device, remember your preferences, analyze readership, and measure the reach of our letters.
Custom fonts on this Site are served via fonts.bunny.net, a GDPR-compliant proxy of the Google Fonts library that does not transmit your IP address to Google.

V.Your Privacy Rights
5.1 General rights

Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information. We do not sell personal information for money. However, the use of certain advertising cookies (such as the Meta Pixel) may be considered a "sale" or "share" under California law. You may lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority.
VI.Data Retention
We retain personal information for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes for which it was collected, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. Reader correspondence is typically retained for up to three years for continuity in our editorial relationship with you.

However, no method of transmission over the Internet or electronic storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

The Site may contain links to third-party websites or services that we do not operate. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those third parties. We encourage you to review the privacy policies of any services you visit.
